Dining Kitchen
We hope you love the kitchen – the heart of the home and hopefully the best equipped holiday cottage kitchen you have found!.
All products are dishwasher-safe, apart from those listed on the note on the top of the dishwasher. We hope you get time to use some equipment and even bake a cake or a loaf of bread while you are here.

Double Bedroom

A spacious and pretty room with views over the fields to the rear of the farm and ample storage space. This room contains one Kingsize bed. This room is large enough to accommodate two occasional beds or cots.
The unique cover was made by our fabulous Aunty Anita who is a bit of a whizz with a sewing machine. A hairdryer can be found in the dressing table if required. As with all bedrooms, the duvets are ‘Silentnight All Seasons’ and therefore is made up of a 9tog and a 4.5tog which together make a 13.5tog. Unless we have a really cold spell we generally place the 9 tog on the bed and the ‘other half’ can be found in the bottom of the wardrobe.
We hope you will enjoy lying in bed enjoying the view of the pasture from the low window – keep the curtains open and watch the sunrise; it’s so beautiful and we promise not to look when we bring the cows in! We found the lovely old oak scroll furniture at a local antique auction (Thompson’s of Harrogate – held every Friday)

Twin/Double Bedroom

This room contains either two 3ft single beds or if joined together, one super-king-size bed. A hairdryer can be found in the top of the dresser if required. As with all bedrooms, the duvets are ‘Silentnight All Seasons’.
The artwork is by the artist Ken Messom; we have a print of his in our lounge from our very first weekend away in the lakes (aaahhh!)

Single Bedroom
This pretty little room is part of the oldest part of the farmhouse and is where the meat from the farm was hung in the early part of the last century (no traces left...).
As with all bedrooms, the duvet is a ‘Silentnight All Seasons’

Family Bathroom

The bathroom, located on the first floor, has a shower-over-bath, a toilet and washbasin.
We also provide a toilet roll should you have forgotten to bring any with you.
Your towels will be located in the bedrooms.
Outside

At the front, there is your parking space and a small yard outside the front door.
At the rear, accessed through the kitchen, is a garden with outdoor furniture. The patio area is secluded and private.
There is a table with four chairs and a picnic table which may be moved if required. The large garden area further on is shared with the other cottage and has plenty of room for games and play. We have garden games available if you would like to borrow these.
Views from here stretch down to our section of the River Nidd.
