Just two miles from Harrogate centre, The Cud Life is our little slice of Yorkshire happiness.
With three holiday cottages, a 16 pitch campsite and Hay Café on site, it’s a place to pause and enjoy stunning sunrises and sunsets. You can be assured of an undisturbed night’s sleep due to our quiet site policy of lights out by 10.30pm.
Guests can explore Harrogate and the surrounding Yorkshire Dales countryside with ease (with a bus stop at the end of our farm). We have plenty of suggestions in area with places to visit and events. You can then return to peace, comfort and the kind of hospitality that feels like home.

We’re conveniently located just an 8 minute walk from the Warren Lodge bus stop, served by excellent links. The 36 runs to Harrogate, Leeds and Ripon, while the 24 goes to Harrogate. Stops for Harrogate/Leeds and Ripon sit at opposite ends of the lane, with live updates available via Transdev.
HAY Café sits at the top of the campsite and is run by the lovely Ralph and Alex. They serve fresh, simple breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes, along with great coffee, cakes and ice cream. Inside there is also Hay Gift Barn which stocks local makers’ produce and a small selection of camping essentials. It’s a warm, countryside spot that’s perfect for campers, cottage guests, walkers, cyclists, bikers and a favourite with locals too.
